Well, maybe, not wrong just out of your reach, or something like that.
I often pray in the shower because its really the only time, the kids don't come calling my name every few minutes. It seems so natural that the next step is to read the bible right. Often enough, I will hear a scripture and run to the book and chapter to read it. This has been a years long practice for me and up until this point, I could say it never failed me. If I was going through a particular situation or feeling some kind of way, I could count on those scriptures to speak directly to me.
On this one occasion, that could not be further from the truth.
I kept hearing the scripture Psalms 151 (yes Psalms, Psalm), but I knew that there was no such thing, so I ingnored it.
A few days later, I am still thinking about this same scripture.
It doesn't let go. I am now haunted by the mere thought of this scripture.
Now I am questioning, where it came from if its not in the bible.
Have I not been hearing GOD, this whole time? Was this all in my head?
IS GOD REAL?
When i heard myself ask myself that question, I took a hard pause and answered myself with faith

.
Yes, God is real!
No, I have experienced some amazing things and they have been witnessed by many, so its not in my head.
Yes, the previoius scriptures have kept me from losing my mind. They have given me joy and comfort when needed. Everytime, even when a little delayed have always been just for me. Why would this time be any different.
So i trusted him up to this point, why not go further?
And so I do what any reasonable person would do and grab my laptop, hop on duck, duck go and type in Psalms 151.
Lo, and Behold, it is actually a scripture.
This chapter is not included in most bibles although is considered canonical. Now I won't go into why that is, you can certainly look it up though.
Suffice it to say, Listen!
Listen to that small still voice, even when it seems like it telling you something that doesn't make sense or seem likes its possible at all.
Listen, even when it's wrong, as long as it's the holy spirit.
